As the saying goes “all good things must come to an end” and so it is with Lunch At Allen’s, who embarked on a country-wide Farewell Tour, that began in Atlantic Canada last October. Coming together in 2004, for what was meant to be a one-off 8-date tour presented as a song-writer’s circle, four friends discovered a soul-warming joie de vivre in performing together … and so ended 20 years of camaraderie touring the country coast to coast.

November 2025 wrapped the final Lunch At Allen’s Farewell Tour, playing to sold out theatres across Ontario. The tour marked the end of an era performing with close friends Murray McLauchlan, Cindy Church, Marc Jordan. Life remains a wonder and I have to say at 75, I am blessed there is still joy in writing and performing music. Shopenhauer said “Music is the most effective of the arts because it can enter the soul without permission.” It sure can take us all somewhere far bigger than ourselves. I have nothing but gratitude for how lucky I have been as a singer songwriter.
